A few words about......Croptime

Hello, and welcome to my little studio.
As a small specialist Artstamping studio with a strong tradition of teaching workshops, I currently offer around six brand new formal workshops each month which can be booked by email, telephone or in person at the studio, with full details on this blog each month.

I also feel crafting is a social experience too and "Croptime" is our now, weekly drop in session where the focus is on Scrapbooking and mini books. It runs between 11am and 3pm every Tuesday, you choose how long you want to stay, and each week there is either a 12x12 layout idea for you to use with your own photos etc or a mini book to try your hand at, but you are very welcome just to bring along whatever scrappy project you want to work on.
Yesterday I was remaking a mini book originally intended as a little Christmas workshop but that I wasn't happy with, so it morphed from this......
....to this.

So, how do these sessions differ from our formal workshops? Firstly, they are not taught sessions, more about sharing techniques and ideas, with a sample to follow, a studio album to browse through and a demo of any technique you are not sure of, if you are looking for inspiration. You also don't need to book your space, if you fancy joining me just pop along. The sessions cost £5 and you have access to all our workshop tools, equipment and stash, I also include the base cardstock for the 'bones' of a mini book or a layout, and as with all our taught workshops, the kettle and coffee pot are on with accompanying biscuits/cake.

A good value session with a bit of chat and laughter along the way, not a bad way to spend a Tuesday!

Hope to see you soon.

Val x

    1. Thanks Helen, we have always had weekly stamping drop in sessions with peeps coming along to journal/cardmake/scrap so as the number of regulars have grown the new more of sessions needed to grow as well! We are not strict on the divisions between the sessions but we have found peeps enjoy crafting alongside others making the sort of things they want to make.
I wish you lived closed too, it seems a long tome since we last met, Port Sunny last year I think! I need to get out more lol!
